Terms of Service
Effective: October 2, 2026
This document is a draft that has not yet been through legal review. This notice is removed once business registration and legal review are complete. For questions about its contents, please use the contact address below.
1. Purpose
These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the Plunxo service (the “Service”) provided by Plunxo (the “Company”), along with the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
- “Service” means every feature the Company provides through https://plunxo.com and related domains.
- “User” means anyone who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
- “Member” means a User who has created an account via a Google or Kakao account, or via email verification.
- “Paid Service” means any part of the Service a User pays for, whether a subscription that renews automatically each billing period or a one-time purchase.
3. Posting and Amendment of Terms
The Company posts these Terms within the Service so that Users may review them at any time.
The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. When amending, the Company announces the effective date and the reason at least 7 days in advance. For amendments that are disadvantageous to Users, the Company announces them at least 30 days in advance and also notifies Members at their registered email address.
A User who does not agree to an amendment may terminate their agreement. Continuing to use the Service after the announcement period is treated as acceptance.
4. Registration and Accounts
A User may become a Member by signing in with a Google or Kakao account, or through a verification link sent by email.
Kakao sign-in may not provide an email address, depending on the provider's policy. In that case, a Member must separately register a notification email address in the settings page in order to receive transactional notices such as payment confirmations.
A Member may not transfer or lend their account to a third party.
A Member is responsible for the security of their registered email account and must notify the Company without delay if they suspect their account has been compromised. On such notice, the Company may immediately invalidate all sign-in sessions for that account.
5. Provision and Modification of the Service
The Service is intended to be available 24 hours a day, year-round. The Company may suspend all or part of the Service where there is good reason, including system maintenance, equipment replacement, network failure, or an outage at an external service the Company relies on.
The Company may modify the content of the Service. Where a change to a Paid Service's content or terms is disadvantageous to Users, the Company gives advance notice under Section 3.
The Company relies on third-party facilities and features to provide the Service (payments, email delivery, artificial-intelligence models, and others). Their scope is disclosed in the Privacy Policy.
6. Paid Services and Payment
The types and prices of Paid Services are displayed within the Service. Displayed prices include value-added tax.
Subscription Paid Services are charged automatically each billing period to the payment method the User has registered. The fact of automatic billing, the amount, and the billing period are shown on the screen where the payment method is registered.
Where a free trial is offered, the day the trial ends is the first billing date. The Company notifies the User at their registered email address, before the first charge, of the upcoming payment and how to cancel.
The Company does not itself store payment instrument details such as card numbers. Payments are processed through a payment gateway, and the Company retains only the identifiers needed to request payment.
If a payment fails, the Company may retry for a limited period. If payment is still not completed within that period, access to the Paid Service ends.
7. Cancellation
A Member may cancel a subscription at any time from within the Service.
Cancellation stops future charges; the period already paid for remains available until it ends. If a Member reverses the cancellation before the period ends, the subscription continues uninterrupted.
A Member may request deletion of their account at any time. Upon deletion, related personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds
Under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, a User may withdraw from a contract within 7 days of the date they can confirm its contents.
Withdrawal may be restricted once the provision of digital content has begun. Where that applies, the Company discloses the restriction on the purchase screen and refunds in full before provision begins.
Refunds for subscription Paid Services are handled as follows:
- Where the Service has not been used after payment: full refund.
- Where the Service is in use: refund of the amount remaining after deducting the portion already used.
- Where the Service was unavailable due to the Company's fault: full refund for that period.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method. For card payments, it may take 3–5 business days for the reversal to appear on a statement, depending on the card issuer.
9. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send the order number and the reason to plunxo.support@gmail.com. The Company replies with the outcome within 3 business days of receiving the request.
After processing a refund, the Company notifies the User of the refunded amount and the processing date at their registered email address.
10. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not:
- misappropriate another person's account, payment method, or personal data;
- circumvent usage limits, or send abnormal volumes of requests by automated means;
- reverse-engineer, or reproduce or distribute without authorization, the Service's source code, structure, or non-public features;
- use the Service to generate or distribute material that infringes another person's rights or violates the law;
- interfere with the stable operation of the Service.
11. Restriction of Use
Where a User breaches Section 10, the Company may restrict their use of the Service after prior notice. Where harm to other Users is imminent or a legal violation is clear, the Company may restrict first and give notice afterwards.
A User who disputes a restriction may explain the circumstances to plunxo.support@gmail.com. Where the explanation is well-founded, the Company lifts the restriction without delay.
12. Intellectual Property
Intellectual property rights in the Service and in the software, design, and documentation it contains belong to the Company.
Rights in the content a User submits to the Service, and in the output produced from it, belong to the User. The Company processes such content only to the extent necessary to provide the Service and to respond to incidents.
13. Notice Regarding Artificial-Intelligence Features
The artificial-intelligence features in the Service rely on language models operated by third parties.
Output generated by artificial intelligence may be inaccurate. Users must verify output rather than rely on it as given. The Company does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of generated output.
Do not rely on artificial-intelligence output as the basis for decisions requiring professional judgment, such as medical, legal, or financial matters.
14. Limitation of Liability
The Company is not liable for loss arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, network failures, and outages at external services the Company relies on.
The Company is not liable for interruptions to a User's use of the Service caused by that User.
Nothing in these Terms excludes the Company's liability for loss caused by its intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Dispute Resolution
The Company and Users will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes relating to the Service amicably.
Where a dispute is not resolved, proceedings are brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Users may also apply for mediation to external bodies such as the Korea Consumer Agency or the Electronic Commerce Mediation Committee.
16. Governing Language
This English text is provided for convenience. The Korean version of these Terms is the operative version; where the two differ in meaning, the Korean version governs.
